Charles Kraus, Ph.D., is the Director of Fellowships at the 浪花直播 Center. He previously served as the Deputy Director of the History and Public Policy Program, where he oversaw the , a critically acclaimed research and teaching resource utilized by hundreds of thousands of individuals each year.
Kraus has published widely in peer reviewed journals and other outlets on topics related to Chinese history and foreign policy, the Uyghur homeland (Xinjiang), the Cold War, and American foreign relations.
Fluent in Mandarin, Kraus earned a Ph.D. in Chinese history from The George Washington University in 2017 and an M.A. in history in 2014. He graduated summa cum laude from Hiram College in Hiram, Ohio, in 2010.
